  • Registration 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM (see Contest page if you wish to compete)
  • Opening Ceremonies 9:45 AM
  • Contest starts 10:00 AM
Where Fred Fedeler Farm, 46119 240th Street, Chester, SD
Mostly for your and others' safety:Do not get in front of horses -- if they bolt you could be in their path. Don't be in the standing corn near the horses, you may startle the horses. Stay behind the judges and gleaners so you don't interfere with their duties. If you want to take pictures of someone husking, perhps do it in the practice picking area.

Consider Trying the Three Person Pick Three people each pick for five minutes. Registration is limited to 15 or 18 people (depending on the number of horse teams). It is free, but you must sign the registration form( includes waiver ). Registration runs later than the other classes up to the end of the 10 minute classes (sometime a little before or after noon). The composition of teams will be randomly assigned.
